3km Trail Run, 9km MTB, 3km Trail Run
The Isle of Wight Offroad Duathlon will be staged at the fantastic IOW Mountain Bike Centre on Shorwells’ Cheverton Farm. A challenging 3km trail run over downland, through copses and along ancient pathways is followed by a 9km mountain bike ride on purpose built trails. Over (or around if you’d prefer!) bumps and berms and weaving through woodland, the cross country course takes in all that the centre has to offer before winding it’s way back to the transition area. A final 3km trail run will feature even more of the farms varied terrain, giving you a tough final challenge before catching sight of the finish line. Subsidised by the IW Cycle Fest, 11-16 year olds can race in the Isle of Wight Offroad Duathlon for free.
